Long time no blog, right? Been trying to keep up with my visits, while working on this quilt. It's my first finished quilt from a pattern (hint: she does put them on sale occasionally). Oh, I've sewn simple squares together for years, but never actually followed a pattern. I love the way it turned out! This is the best picture that's going to happen today, it's cold out! It was 10 degrees when I got up this morning, and it's made it all the way up to 23 right now. I'm not ready for this winter stuff, at least no snow yet, my sister 2 hours away got eight inches this weekend
Milo says it sleeps well. :)
I made this Christmasy table runner last week, again no pattern, just a simple disappearing nine patch.
It goes well with some adorable little pixie elves I picked up at sales this summer.
I love these guys, I have tons of red ones, but these are the first green ones I've been able to find (and afford!). This is the only Christmas I have out so far, how bad is that? I visit everyone else's blogs and it looks so festive, I really need to put the quilting away and get on that!

Beautiful quilt, and I love the Christmas table runner. Cute elves too. I've never seen green ones before.

Your quilt is so beautiful! I really admire anyone that can make a quilt. The last one I made helped me make the decision to not try making another one! And I have lots of green elves, but rarely see a red one around here!
Happy Monday!
Carol
p.s. Only 18 degrees here right now. Hope you got out of the 20s today!
lovely quilt! i don't think i'll have time this year, but i defintiely plan to make an easy peasy quilt as you go table runner for next christmas, and perhaps maybe "seasonal" ones to use throughout the year ;)
it is "cold" here, it's 40 and windy, quite chilly. i feel the need for long johns, and i'm sure y'all with laugh at this, but i have slim sweat pants under my pants!
Oh I love your quit and the table runner is so colorful and bright. The elves are darling oh how I would love some of those !!
That quilt's beautiful, Lisa; that Milo's a smart kitty to be testing it out for ya ;-). Pretty table runner, too. You've been busy!!
Love the elves! My grandmother had one that was similar, only he had a small red bell in his hand.
Lovely quilt and love that outside shot of it...
beautiful !!!
Those elves are great! I love the chartreuse one.
Lisa, you are beyond talented! I wish I could quilt. Your runner matches my Christmas tree, so pretty. E
Those little elves are adorable! Looks as though you have been a little elf yourself getting all those projects finished. Good for you. Thanks for sharing!
Carolyn :)
Hi Lisa, Back again. That last photo just takes my heart away! After my post on Monday, you will see why I am so in love with your runner!
Great idea for your theme! I love that all of our tags will be unique to ourselves.
Have a cozy weekend! Elizabeth
Hey Hon', that quilt is so wonderful! It caught my eye as soon as I clicked on. The table runner is so fun and cute too. I just dropped in to say thank you for your kind words when my kitty died last week. You know how they are our babies. I know not everyone understands that. Boy I miss him but your words warmed my heart. MIL is back in the care home and doing much better. Thank you for praying and caring for all of us. I would have came by sooner but as you can imagine everything is behind here, including 2 swaps that I had promised out. I'm finally catching up and hope to be blogging soon.
Love and Happy wishes for a joyous season...Tracy :)
Oh' did I tell you how much I liked your cute apron pocket for Elizabeth's swap. As cute as pie!!!
