Quilt blocks 2 and 3

Two more blocks finished for my sampler quilt, I think having a record of them here will keep me motivated.  Both of these were originally published in the Kansas City Star Newspaper.

The pink one is called granny's choice, published December 29, 1948.

The green one is called trails or kings crown, and was published in 1931.

And on a blog note, blogger is being really stupid!  It won't let me add my blog list back to my side bar, it just freezes up and nothing happens.  I know what blogs I read, but apparently blogger doesn't want me to share it with the world. ;)

Great quilt blocks. I won't be doing this for awhile now until I move to my new craft room. Blogger can be very touchy at times I've noticed this.

Blogger was giving me trouble a couple of days ago too. Just hang in there, it will all get sorted out soon.
Your quilt blocks are looking good!

I really like the green and yellow together. That's a color combination that I don't think I've ever used before in a quilt...
